Light edits a city. I tend to get lost on my way back to the hotel. It feels as though I’m inhabiting two different cities. I need to pick a landmark, otherwise, every time I come out of the subway, it feels like I’ve landed in another city.

I'm currently obsessed with painters whose sole focus was capturing light (and the absence of it). Cities also have the capacity to embrace both.
